I believe it was Buckaroo Banzai, not Bonsai. The adventures of Buckaroo Bonsai would revolve around the activities of a small japanese tree.

This post spot on. It raises an absolutely fundamental, common sense issue that is not getting enough attention. My question is how to get UX and usability to the table in a more serious way now.
