From my wandering about the identity space, there is another organisation doing some interesting things in the SaaS identity space.

Their name is Gardanto, and they entered the market with an SMS, Two-Factor authentication as a service offering some time ago. They have expanded their product to do identity management for SaaS providers recently. That is, they can do SSO as a service now, and as of January '08 are pre-integrated with Salesforce and Google Apps.

We use them to secure our VPN and Extranets and are evaluating moving our Salesforce identity management to them. It means that we can have one identity across our remote access and the SaaS based applications we use.

They're clever guys and seem well positioned to capitalize on the growing SaaS identity market.
